Bethany Horbal, DMD
Is honored to join Dr. Christine Lee at Aesthetic Dentistry of Fairfield.
She attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine for her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Unlike many general dentists, she decided to continue her formal training after receiving her doctorate by completing a one year General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. During her residency she spent countless hours working in the emergency room treating patients with urgent dental infections and facial trauma. She also completed comprehensive dental care on children and adults under general anesthesia in the operating room. One of the most unique experiences of her residency was a month-long rotation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer center where she worked alongside dental oncologists to treat complex oral disease related to cancer. The high stress and fast paced nature of her residency sharpened her diagnostic and procedural skills.
After finishing her residency she worked as a general dentist for 6 years in Shelton, Connecticut. During this time she developed a very personalized approach to practicing dentistry. She takes the time to truly get to know each of her patients in order to develop a treatment plan suited to their individual needs. She strives to develop a sense of trust and comfort during every visit and empowers her patients to feel confident about their smiles. She prides herself on staying on the cutting edge of technology and has a special interest in providing minimally invasive dentistry. She is proficient in a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, crown and bridgework, implant restorations, root canals and extractions. She is certified in Invisalign clear aligner therapy and trained to perform unique cosmetic procedures such as resin-infiltration of white spots, closing gaps and black triangles with the Bioclear Matrix, and Zoom Whitening.
Dr. Bethany is a Connecticut native. She grew up in Berlin and now lives with her husband and daughter in Wilton. She lived in Fairfield for 4 years during her undergraduate studies at Fairfield University and is excited to return to Fairfield to practice alongside Dr. Lee and her team.
