Your Initial Dental Appointment
When you contact our office to schedule your first appointment, your questions, requests, and any concerns regarding your dental care will be heard and understood by our front office team. After setting an appointment time with Dr. Lee, you have the option of receiving your new patient forms by mail, email, or text. If you have recently moved into the Fairfield, CT area and have any records from a previous dentist, we are happy to facilitate any transfer of records on your behalf.
Your initial appointment will include:
- Time for you to communicate the purpose of your visit and your desired dental treatment outcomes.
- A thorough review of your dental and medical history.
- Comprehensive dental records as needed based on the nature of your case, including necessary diagnostic radiographs, intraoral scan, periodontal charting, and/or diagnostic models.
- A comprehensive dental examination.
- A discussion regarding our doctors’ initial findings and treatment recommendations.
- An opportunity to ask any questions regarding your dental care.
If further discussion is needed after your initial appointment, you have the option to be scheduled for a complimentary 60-minute consultation following your first visit. At this appointment, our doctor will share treatment options tailored and custom-made specifically for you, the ideal sequencing of your dental appointments, and details of the financial costs associated with your care. Questions regarding scheduling, payments, or insurance processing will also be answered during your follow-up consultation.
We strongly believe in working together and in helping patients to make truly informed decisions; we want you to have a clear understanding of your teeth and your treatment needs, and what we can do for you and your smile. We know that you care about making the best decisions for your overall health and longevity, and we will provide guidance to help you make important decisions about your dental health using the most up-to-date information available.
Your comfort is our top priority during your dental visits. We have cold bottled water and assorted hot beverages such as coffee or tea available in our reception area. Clean pillows or blankets can be provided for patient warmth during treatment. We have TVs in each operatory for patients to watch during routine hygiene or dental treatment visits, with Bluetooth noise-canceling headphones. We always specifically reserve your appointment time just for you, so we are never rushed and we have the time needed to do meticulous, excellent work while making you feel as comfortable and as relaxed as possible.
Payment Options at Aesthetic Dentistry of Fairfield
We accept most insurance plans, even though we’re not in- network with any specific companies. We’ll explain your benefits, estimate your out-of-pocket cost, answer your questions, and file all the paperwork.
CareCredit is a great option for anyone who needs dental care. It’s similar to a credit card but many patients qualify for limited 0% interest payment plans. We will help you apply at our office, or you can apply online.
